Ransom:
Ransom is band of four seasoned musicians from the
Watertown
and
Carthage
area. The four individuals (Scott, Jake and Brent Desormo and Steve
Ladouceur) have played in various combinations for many years and
finally in 2009 brought the entire quartet together to form a strong
southern rock based group. Ransom will play many cover tunes and some
originals. They orient their music to broad based family entertainment.
You can expect to hear sounds similar to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi,
Matchbox Twenty, David Cook and more. The band will open our Cream
Cheese Stage at 11 AM. Find them on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/RANSOM/140065503132?sk=info
Terry
Mostyn:
Terry is a
New Jersey
native who has been playing and singing since he was a young boy. He has
resided in Lewis County, NY for many years and his music has
transitioned to Celtic and rock influences. He is noted for sing-alongs
and crowd participation as he plays clubs and bars in northern
New York
. Terry has been a regular participant at the Cream Cheese Festival. His
crowd pleasing, friendly style make him a favorite in
Lewis
County
. Terry will be on the stage at 12:30 PM. Get more info on Terry Mostyn http://www.facebook.com/terry.mostyn.
Gwen Tracy:
Gwen is a blues, rock and folk singer from Old Forge, NY. She has
performed with many other artists from the Adirondacks including John
Kribs and the band Delia. Gwen will be returning to the Festival for her
second time following a great performance in 2010. Last year she played
with her mother, father and husband. We will have to wait and see who
she brings to the stage this year!! If you like Bonnie Raitt, Janis
Joplin and good solid blues, you will want to hear Gwen Tracy at 2:30
PM. www.myspace.com/gwentracy
The
Mondays: The
Mondays are a
Long Island
based band of four playing what can best be described as power punk rock
and roll. What does that mean? How about the catchy sounds of the
Beatles, Green Day, the Ramones or the Gin Blossoms. You will be singing
along to their upbeat melodies and dancing to the rhythm with this fun
group. The Mondays play events in the greater
New York City
area and this year they will be cranking out tunes on the route of the
NYC Marathon. We will welcome the band to the Cream Cheese Festival for
the first time and they will be on the stage at approximately 4:30 PM.
Find more info about the band at http://www.themondays.com/home.html.
